Marketing & Branding Workshop was a huge success!

We just wanted to thank all of those who came out to the Marketing & Branding Workshop last Thursday! It was a huge success. Special thanks to the teams from Dials, Casetify, and to Kate Amery from Pulp PR for making their way to Opodz to speak to our audience and for sharing the marketing strategies that have worked for them.

Hello lovely Opodz friends! We are excited to announce that we will be hosting a panel on marketing and branding here at Opodz on Thursday August 25 from 7:00-9:00pm.

Our speakers are leaders in marketing in their respective areas of tech, restaurants, pr, e-commerce and more! Confirmed speakers include PulpPR, Dials, Casetify, Grubhub. More to come. Come find out the strategies that helped Dials get funding and endorsement from Tony Robbins, what launched Grubhub amongst delivery apps, and more.

Parking Updates!

Hey Opodz members! The Regional Connector Constructors (RCC) will begin street repair efforts on 2nd street between San Pedro and Central Ave

Work will begin on Saturday July 16th, 2016 for one day only. However the 2nd street between Central Ave and San Pedro St will be fully closed. If you are trying to go to Opodz parking on this day you will be unable to access it through 2nd street. 

On Sunday the road will be clear and activities will resume to normal. We apologize for any inconvenience!

Women Amaze Me Was A Success!

Hello lovely people! We just want to use this medium to thank all those who attended the panel on entertainment “Women Amaze Me,” we also want to especially thank the speakers who went above and beyond in their presentations and interaction with the public. Thanks again to Johnnie Raines, Ryan Meyer, Laura Brunkala, Heather Ross, Sue Hamilton and Paul Elia! We were honored to have you on the panel.

The attendees got to hear the path that each of these industry professionals followed to achieve their goals. Attendees got to ask the questions they’ve always wanted answers to and had the opportunity to mingle with the speakers after the event.

It was simply inspiring to see all the speakers come together and see the energy and enthusiasm that radiated from everyone present! Careers in entertainment are a work in progress people so don’t forget that!

Special thanks to Opodz, the coworking space and community who opened its doors to host “Women Amaze Me.”

Hey ladies of Opodz! How many of you would be interested in attending a meet and greet of people who work in the entertainment industry? The panel would allow you to ask all the questions you may have about what it takes to land an on-set job and basically any questions about how to get your foot in the industry. It would be lead by casting directors, assistant directors, directors, producers and production staff.
