Meet Jackie Stanton, the latest artist to grace the walls of Opodz. Jackie was trained at the Rhode Island School of Design and has been working full-time as an artist for over a decade. Her large multi-media paintings are categorized into three worlds, Music World, Abstract World and Image World and we're currently displaying a selection from each. Please join us Saturday, June 20th at 7:00 PM for a chance to speak with the artist and see these beautiful pieces up close while enjoying a lovely glass of wine.
Jackie Stanton's art just might be familiar to you. Her work has been featured on a plethora of TV shows including Revenge, House, Major Crimes and Castle as well as multiple issues of InStyle. Her pieces have also found new homes with folks like Avril Levigne, David Caruso and Dr. Phil. But of course, right now, you can see her work at Opodz!
The pieces we're showing, like most of Jackie's work, are deeply textured and filled with intriguing surprises that reveal themselves the longer you admire them. Japanese paper, a real paintbrush, an offhand German phrase, these are the charming details that demand the viewer to take a second, or fifth, look. See for yourself on May 14th!
