The Panda Rabbit

Q&A; with Randy D. Rosario

1. Please give a brief description of your business and services provided.
I am a multimedia artist whose work ranges from video, photography, and fine art.  I am the creator of The Panda Rabbit, a short film that is a mixture of live action, animation, stop motion, and puppetry.

2. How did you get started?
I went to school for fine art and self-taught myself everything I know now. I created my first short film and got recognition for it.  Everything else just happened organically. I've hand made merchandise like dolls and bags and now coming out with my first book. It is super exciting!

3. Why is Downtown LA, Little Tokyo, and the Arts District community important to you?
I was born and raised in Los Angeles and seeing Little Tokyo develop to what it is now is exciting.  It's great to be part of a community that inspires you to create.

4. As an entrepreneur / business owner, what advice can you give for success to our entrepreneurs?
When you are passionate about making things you have to give 100% in finishing what you start.  Don't think about how long something will take to finish. When you keep working on what you love it always comes together.

5. Name one thing interesting / quirky about you and/or your business.
I have a billion things running through my head.  Sleeping is very hard.
